I have not tried the vm tool, so I am not sure if it shows you what is physically in memory versus what is swapped out. PowerPro tries to minimize its physical memory usage by calling a system routine to minimize it if no PowerPro script or command has been executed for more than 1 second. On the other hand, plugins tend to use very little memory, usually well < 50K, which is negligible these days.
