Thanks. So far I've not yet found the conflict. Right clicking the control menu works ok, but not the close box. I tried disabling my Virus checker without improvement. In addition to my Logitech trackball mouse I have a Wacom drawing pad. I will have to try disconnecting it before booting to see if it is the problem. Regards, Sheri
