If I remember well, there is a Unix utility that can synchronize parts of the 
changed files (it is a backup utility), and it has been compiled for Windows. 
Maybe it can solve your problem. Unfortunately, I do not remember its name 
(maybe someone else will, because it is quite well used for incremental backup 
under *nix). If I remember its name, I will come back and post it.
Ok, I have been able to find it. It is called rsync. Look at the following link 
that proposes a binary also for Windows:
