I have PP 4.9e running with admin rights on Windows 7 RC1. I also run Directory
Opus, which has the ability to open itself with a double L.Click on the
desktop. For some reason, running PP with admin rights kills the ability to
bring up DirOpus with the desktop doubleclick. If I run PP without admin
rights, I don't lose that desktop functionality. There is nothing in my PP
config that would do this. As a matter of fact, it is the same pcf, same PP and
same Directory Opus that I ran for years without problem in XP.

I also lose the ability to use mouse gestures in 32bit apps. For example; I
have "middle drag left" set to paste some text. It always works in a 64bit app,
such as Win7's notepad. But, I lose that ability in any 32 bit app. Sometimes
it will work initially and then I lose it forever until the next reboot. Same
behavior for "right doubleclick anywhere" to bring up one of my menus. Works
64bit, not 32bit.

What is causing this? I've looked through the PP configuration and can't find
anything.

What do I lose if I run PP without admin rights? I don't have too many complex
scripts. I mostly use PP as a launcher, clipboard mgr, and macro utility.
