Its been awhile since I played with Vista, but as I recall a UAC prompt only applies if you start Powerpro as administrator. Lots of Powerpro things won't work unless Powerpro is either run as administrator or UAC is disabled. In XP, if the user is an administrator, all apps used have the same privilege. But in Vista, the app itself must be run as administrator, or else must be designed to request elevation when it needs to do something that requires admin privilege. Otherwise some unauthorized tasks will just silently fail. Regards, Sheri
