I have just installed the 64-bit version of XP and when trying to install tray
support I get the message:

unexpected current value for winlogon key..

I checked the help guide and see what to do but my userinit does not look as
expected. From the help it says my key should look like this:

Userinit=C:\WINNT\system32 \userinit.exe,

However, in my case I have:

userinit=userinit

I suspect that this is why it cannot install tray support automatically.
However, my concerns are:

1 - the docs say to have a comma at the end which mine does not. do I need this?

2 - my existing userinit does not have a full path, is that ok?

3 - I think I should set:

userinit=userinit,c:\progra~2\powerpro\pprotray.exe

however I am not positive and do not want to mess up the registry. Has anyone
successfully used pprotray.exe on XP 64-bit and if so what settings did you
have to use?
