Or, more likely, some kind of race condition where your worker thread hangs, which in turn hangs PowerPro. I would say that if someone tests and see PowerPro hang by looking at list of processes (not applications), they should manually kill PowerPro and wait a few seconds before retesting. Also manually kill winword if still running after word script test.
