I thought I posted a message about COM plugin 0.63_090630 yesterday, but guess 
not.

COM plugin 0.63_090630: replaced WaitForSingleObject with 
CoWaitForMultipleHandles.  Killed call to OleUninitialize for now

COM plugin 0.63_090701: as above, and put some critcal section fences around 
some stuff that shouldn't, in principle need it, but....
