[power-pro] Tap shift on an Advent laptop

Trying to set up tap-shift to *keys {back} and tap-ctrl to *keys +{ba} on my 
girlfriends Advent 6651 laptop.  They just wont work.

Set them up on my new Acer 5375z and they work fine, any ideas anyone?
