It seems to be pinnable when you check "Disable desktop composition" in the
compatibility tab for PPro. Desktop composition seems to be the 3D Glass
effects of the Desktop Window Manager (DWM), allowing Peek among other
features. Disabling it for PPro disables it for the entire desktop when that
one app is running.
I've not used Vista so I don't know if it is also a problem on there. I will
now search for a way to make it pinnable while leaving the DWM on.
