Either solution is possible and the code to do it is here: http://blogs.msdn.com/larryosterman/archive/2007/03/06/how-do-i-change-the-master-volume-in-windows-vista.aspx I don't have access to the latest ms vc header files; I do not want to download an install and possible break my existing vc install. If someone has them and uploads, I can do if no one else wants to.
