By recent test version, do you mean the one from a couple of days ago or the one from last week? I made an internal change to vec purely for reasons of craftmanship, I am afraid, which is likely broken one of the interfaces Alan added to vec for use in regex. Alan, how exactly does regex depend on vec? Note that the new source code is included in the zip if you want to review your interfaces. Note that handle format stored in the variable has changed, but otherwise interfaces should still work.
