I'm aware of alternative programs such as Desksave (I personally use one called
DesktopOK). But the point is, it's a feature in PowerPro that out and out
doesn't work when IMO it really should be fixed so it does. I understand that
there have been desktop changes. However, if other programs can do it then PP
should be able to as well. My problem with using the third party programs are
that I haven't found any that are command line driven so I can't map a PP
command to it to say "program.exe -restore_position -allicons", know what I
mean? PP is starting to wind up not being the one-stop shop it always was for
me, and I can't see that changing until x64 compatibility is introduced.
Everything else appears to work - menus, rolling up windows.. I don't get why
the simple location/positioning of icons on a desktop is a fail point.

Cheers
Dhry
