Hi Antoine, The commented strings at the bottom are strings that had been translated but their source msgstr disappeared since (or got so heavily modified that they appear like new one to msgmerge). Some translations tools keep them commented in the file so they can use this previous work in case the msgstr strings reappears, or to be used by their fuzzy substring matching helper. It seems like we're working uncoordinated on the same thing. I maintained localy an updated fr.po following svn HEAD strings, and you corrected many spelling mistakes on the old fr.po. So I merged both in this fr.po (matching svn revision 105), UTF-8: http://oshima.zouh.org/~ben/fr.po or if you prefer a diff against svn (rev 105): http://oshima.zouh.org/~ben/fr.po.diff So I guess we should rebase our work on this merged and up-to-date one, right ? Arjan, could this one be commited ? What about working together on fr.po (maybe trough a common svn repos or something like that) ? PS: - Note the \n are placed to limit lines width to 80 cols. I think that's the intent in the original english strings. - Beware, some of the new strings are copied in a fixed size buffer limited to 38 chars + \0 + sign (grep for status_bar_slots). Our translations must not overflow this one ;) - I'm not sure about what would be the best translation for "sleep" in the CPU's C3/C4 C-state mean : I started with "mise en veille", but this one has other common uses (ie. like "suspend to ram"), so is maybe confusing. I then thought about "repos"... but then how to distinguish "sleep" from "idle" ? "Sommeil" sounds strange in the context.
