I just released version 1.4 of PowerTOP; quite a bit of change in this
one:
* Converted to use ncurses so that resizes etc just work
(Sebastian Kuzminsky)
* PowerTOP now uses gettext for i18n; many thanks to the translators
for providing various translations
* PowerTOP now randomly rotates through the suggestions so that you
get to see all of them
* The "suggest AC97 on systems without AC97" bug is fixed
* PowerTOP now reports timer ticks that aren't accounted by other
events (for example due to lack of NO_HZ or no HPET)
* PowerTOP now checks for the BIOS having HPET enabled as well
* Several suggestions now have a "hotkey" that you can hit to
activate the suggestion right away
* new checks and suggestions for device power savings (sound, cpu,
wireless) have been added, including hotkey functionality
