Disabling the bluetooth via /proc/acpi/ibm/bluetooth seems to be
equivalent to unplugging the device. In my experience (on a x61s) it is
a good way to disable it and save power.

I recently upgraded to kernel 2.6.28 (from 2.6.26). There I got
/sys/class/rfkill/* switches. They seem to be the new interface to
archieve the same (and are present for wlan and wwan too).
