Before I got my UPS Powertop was always in the green, but now I just cannot get there because the UPS is causing the USB to be polled quite often:
A USB device is active 4.5% of the time: USB device 7-1 : Back-UPS ES 550 FW:828.D2.I USB FW:D2 (APC) I can enable usb power mgmt by pressing U but it does not have any effect, because the UPS keeps polling so often. I understand that this is a pure UPS issue, but does it really need to poll so often? Anyone know of a way to stop it polling so often or would this break the UPS's function? Regards, Andrew
