I had a PB1400 with a 400MHz Sonnet and it worked like a charm. I started
out running OS9.1 though so I don't know what issues I might have
encountered with prior operating systems.

It was reported that OS8.6 & OS9.0.x had problems with sound but that OS8.5
worked just fine. I was running OS8.6 and since I didn't want to go
backwards I moved up to OS9.1. I even ran iTunes as well as a number of
graphics applications without any problems...other than being limited to
64MB RAM.
