Well, since I started this thread, I decided to contribute to it, also. All
the patches I've tried for OS 8.1 on iTunes (on a PowerPC, of course) didn't
work, so I gave up. Instead, I went back to my old MP3 player, GrayAMP
<http://eckysoft.com>, which is rather bland and plain-looking, but works
really well and I realized it has all the features I need.
If you have a first-generation PowerMac, a PPC-upgraded PowerBook 500, a
PowerBook 5300, or something of that performance, I really suggest you give
GrayAMP a try - afterall it's freeware!
