I've just acquired a Powerbook 160, and I've just discovered something about
it that exasperates me a bit. It seems that there's only a certain version
of System 7.1 that it will run. It's running fine now, but what happend
if/when I have to re-install system software? I have a set of 7.1 floppies,
but the 160 won't take them. I know I could run 7.5.3 on it in a pinch, but
I'm told it would be real, real sloooow.
So I'm wondering, just in case I ever have to replace the system software,
how would I do it? What version of 7 would I need? 7.1.3? And where in the
world would I find it? Thanks in advance for your info and advice.
