The 3400s and especially the 240mhz machines are great value on the 
second hand  market right now. One reason I haven't upgraded is the 
removable expansion bays. I have a VST zip, a cd-rom drive, floppy 
drive a 230mb MO drive and a gaggle of VST hard drives. Throw in a 
bookendz dock and the bulletproof nature of the machine and you've 
got a real winner. (Too bad there's no removable DVD-Rom drive for it)
Just please stop telling me what you're paying for these beauties, I 
bought mine new and the bank manager has only recently relaxed his 
grip on the family jewels.
