The 3400s and especially the 240mhz machines are great value on the
second hand market right now. One reason I haven't upgraded is the
removable expansion bays. I have a VST zip, a cd-rom drive, floppy
drive a 230mb MO drive and a gaggle of VST hard drives. Throw in a
bookendz dock and the bulletproof nature of the machine and you've
got a real winner. (Too bad there's no removable DVD-Rom drive for it)
Just please stop telling me what you're paying for these beauties, I
bought mine new and the bank manager has only recently relaxed his
grip on the family jewels.
