And speaking of the super robust 3400, anyone know where I can get a working
logic board (any model) at a fair price? I've got a 3400/200 that appears to
have a fried logic board, after being dropped; but all parts and peripherals
seem to be working fine (tested on other 3400), and the screen isn't cracked
or anything. I got it more or less for free in a Mac parts swap, so I'm
looking at it as a project. I've got a 6xCD, floppy, a new 16MB bank of RAM,
2GB HD, and if I get it working I'd like to lend it to a PC-using friend as
she finishes her thesis.
I'm looking to buy, or else swap for a working 1400/117 logic board (with
16MB RAM on board), mounted in the bottom case if you want.
Any help greatly appreciated.
