"Anyone had or heard of trouble with the 166 and the G3?" The majority of people have no difficulties. Around 10%, however, (including me), will get strange finder behavior, error 1 and 2 messages, "files not found", freezes with audio or video, etc. etc. The answer, according to Sonnet: use 8.5.1 or 9.1, which for some reason do not produce the problems. Also, VirtualPC 4 is incompatible. I don't know what other surprises Sonnet has in store. I am still quite irritated that there was no word whatsoever about these problems on their website. QuickTime still gives me troubles unless I deinstall and reinstall it about every two days. I like the speed, and if all you want to do is do the old things really fast and don't have ambitions of turning your 1400 into the latest and best, then it is a worthy investment.
