The Lind Battery Utility BU 500 Deluxe was found here:

Neither have been able to 'see' the battery so it looks like I really
need to find a copy of
the VST Enhance battery utility, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I
measured 5 volts
in the battery so I know it's holding some charge.
The battery takeapart/repair is probably a little over my head.

In the interim, I discovered that the PRAM battery is toast and so I
ordered one from

Wrote back to say they don't repack a Li-Ion type pack. I don't think
the intelligent
battery is- Apple spec calls it NiMH, but I thought she'd know better
than I.
Anyway I've got one coming from Ebay and my fingers are crossed that it
will be
useable.
Still on the case here. If anyone has a link to the VST Enhance utility
it would be
greatly appreciated.
