Fortunately easy. Simply use a standard Apple printer cable (mini-DIN 8
both ends; from $0 used to $5-10 new) and plug one end into the Duo and
the other into 7100. Set up File Sharing on each. (depends on the system
version, but you'll find the 'Sharing Setup' control panel most likely on
yours). Have a read of the manual, but it's fairly intuitive - you give
the computer a name, a password (or simply allow Guest access
alternatively) and switch on AppleTalk in the Chooser. Click on
AppleShare in the Chooser. Voila. The other Mac appears in the Chooser;
you select it; it appears on the desktop. This is only LocalTalk
networking; it's slow but it works.

If you want to regularly sync the Duo with the 7100 or transfer large
files quickly, look into finding a Mini-Dock which will give you SCSI
Disk Mode capabilities (the Duo appears as a SCSI disk on the 7100's
desktop). But if this is only an occasional thing, stick with LocalTalk.
