I have a PowerBook Duo2300 (actually a 280c with 2300 mobo and IDE drive)
which I recently installed OS9.1 on. It has only 44MB RAM and is 100MHz with
no L2 cache. I was surprised at how well it ran on this pokey machine! It
only uses 14.7MB RAM and seems to run a bit better than OS8.6, BUT, I
haven't had much chance to run it through the paces with some real world
applications either.

Since it's just something to play with right now (I use a Wallstreet
regularly) I'm not that concerned about speed with it. However since it's
doing better than I thought it would, I'm planning to install OS9.1 on my
5300cs and see how it does.
