I have a near mint PowerBook 1400, which I've barely used since getting it in
'97. Is there any reason to keep it, or should I should sell it? The reason I
haven't done the latter, is because it would be practically giving it away.
("throwing it away"). I still have a BNIB 33.3 modem card for it. And, 2
cables to interface it to an older Nokia cell-phone.

I understand there were some G3 accelerators for it, but they are no longer
available. (also memory upgrade) Was it possible to use this processor
upgrade card, to do video capture? I recently played with an iBook, & it's
really sweet. (see http://www.airextreme.com/indexa.html, for project I did
completely with an iBook. Never used the PC laptop, the iBook was far
smoother). I realize older uprades are expensive, & "throwing good money after
bad". If I could put some $$ into making it into a somewhat competitive
machine, then I might try it. I have hardware experience, so I can pull off
some tricks to save cost.
