Christopher, I have the same card, but use it on a PB 5300. In AppleTalk chose the option of Alternate Ethernet, and remember that any time that you eject the PC card you must reselect it in AppleTalk the next time you want to use it. The 190, 1400 and 5300 all have no built in ethernet port. The ARA in the driver you downloaded refers to Apple Remote Access, so I _believe_ that it is for the modem and not the ethernet portion of the card.
