I'd like to install OS 7.6.1 on a couple of older Macs we've got lying
around unused (PB 190, Mac IIci, LCIII) in order to set some computer
newbies up with Internet and email.

The problem is that we had 7.6 on 23 floppies, IIRC, which weren't used for
years and now some of which are ruined.

But, for once prudent, I copied said floppy files to the IIci HD and burned
them onto a CD-R a few years back. So I now have a folder on a CD-R with all
these files (Disk Copy images, I would imagine), plus the Disk Copy images
of the 7.6.1 update (downloaded from Apple).

The Big Question: is there any way to burn a bootable CD from these floppy
files? (using Toast Deluxe 4.1.3 on my B&W G3) How would I do it?

I'd like to install 7.6.1 from an external CD-R, with the Toast CD Reader
extension.

Thanks for any help.

Chris H
