Simon,

Unfortunately, that isn't a lot of RAM to work with. Unless/until
you increase your installed memory, you'll want to upgrade to 8.1 but
not 8.6 or higher. And while Photoshop 5.5/Imageready is certainly
the best package around for image editing for the web, you'll likely
find GraphicConverter a better fit for your RAM issues. There are a
lot of RAM dealers out there for your powerbook -- us included. If
you want, tell me what you want off-list and I'll get todays numbers.
You should really try to max out the RAM (64 Mb iirc).

Hands down, NetFinder is the way to ftp. Our webhosting customers
use all kinds of packages, and the only one we refer them to now is
NetFinder -- it is so much better than Fetch or the others.

You may want to explore versiontracker.com to learn more about these
programs, or at least where to find them.

Cheers,

Paul
