Yeah but not enough CPU power to do the job unless it's a 100mhz or
better PPC upgraded one.

My point was that you _can_ play MP3's on lesser machines but only by
losing all the benefits except portability.  I have a 40mhz
Sun Sparcstation that does this very thing to act as an MP3 alarm
clock for my basement.
