Then try to access THAT new name which will be useable in that earlier version of AOL . She signs up the name with a password she tells you. YOU sign in with that new name and PW. You will be sharing HER main account. I share my account with my sister--and she lives in another state. The only caveat is that we cannot be signed on simultaneously. You will be able to send and retrieve email but the browser in that version is extremely limited in function. You can run AOL version 3 on earlier computers (the browser is somewhat better). You cannot run the latest version because it requires a PPC. I can't remember whether version 4 requires PPC or not.
