Several years back Apple had iMacs totally built somewhere in the orient,
but I forget where. My friend who is a Mac Tech here says way too many of
them had problems (he says stuff like that isn't generally known unless you
work in 'fix-it-land'), i.e., many more than has been typical of Apple
products of the past.

FWIW, my personal favorite is the beige tower. Still upgradeable to the
newer dual G4 boards, lots of slots, etc. These things will probably remain
upgradeable, albeit with non-Apple mfr's, for years to come. Basically, you
can stick anything you want in them (in fact, I know people who have Pentium
III PC mains in them, along with the Mac boards, but don't ask me how), and
they also seem to hold their value down the road.

Has anyone looked at my "Hello" post? I found a video dongle at Ebay (Olde
Mac Milt) and bought it. But what I really want to know is how to use a
flash card (PC card slot) for RAM on a PB 1400c.

Best regards,
Ken N.
