Either something has happened to the termination (probably the
termination power fuse on the motherboard is blown) or your HDD is set
to ID7 (the same as the controller), Did this start to happen after
you had plugged in an external SCSI device ??
Also if this PB is capable of working in SCSI disk mode then I think
that you can change the controller ID, if it was changed to the same
as the HDD then this may cause problems, Zapping the PRAM would take
care of that.
If you have an external SCSI HDD or CD with termination built in then
does the PB work ok with it connected? (if so then it is a termination
problem on the motherboard).
