I've just aquired a 3com Etherlink III pcmcia card. It shows up on my desktop as "3c589" (the chipset) and has a networking icon on it, but the mac tells me it doesn't have the correct software to deal with it. Google doesn't turn up anything, and 3com's site has no mac drivers.
Is there a mac driver for this card? (I assume so, there seems to be a newton driver for it) running mac os 7.5.5 on a pb5300ce. i have a disc with 8.0 (and the 8.1 update), if that would help. -Jim -- PowerBooks is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
