Observation: Even if the 3400 LiIon batteries could be used in the 5300, the standard M3037 AC adapter and the internal charging system might be inadequate to sufficiently ~and safely~ charge the LiIon batteries. Was that the problem with the failure of the original LiIon design of the 5300??
