Hi Ingmar, when the voltage rises so high when charging, usually one or more cells are dead.
)-: There was a brilliant posting on how to repair a battery today - go ahead... WD >Hello again, Ive done some more testing. The PB seenses the batterie and >indicate so on the screen, but it will not run nor >start from it. When applying voltage to the batteriecontacts inside the >computer it will still not start. The batterie measures about >9.5 VDC and accept chargingcurrent. So I believe the batterie is alaive, >perhaps not in a good shape. How does the computer >switch to the batterie when external power is disconnected ? Perhaps this >circuit is dead ? >Thanks for any comments you wish to make / Ingvar -- ************************************************************ # Gesellschaft fr fahrgastorientierte Verkehrsplanung b.R. # Khnstr. 54 D-90478 Nrnberg # # Telephon: 0911/4 71 98 49 # Telefax: 0911/47 39 36 # # [EMAIL PROTECTED] # www.verkehrsplanung.com #************************************************************ -- PowerBooks is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
