Right, well that's what I mean...Why do I need a video card? This is a PB
1400c, has the optional video port in the rear. The dongle design leads me
to believe it needs only a cable. Are you saying you think I need some kind
of external video card? I'd think there is one built in.

I tried to hook up an older PC monitor, but it had the old style 9 pin, and
the tech people say they know of no adapter to get it to the Mac.

Anyway, I'm having compatibiliy problems,
