OK, here goes. I have a PB 1400 upgraded to OS 9.1 with a Sonnet 400 processor installed. In addition, it has 64 megs of RAM (single module 48), and a Newer video card. Also, a 6 gig IBM drive in 3 partions. It usually works great, and did for several years, up till last year when it developed this condition where it couldn't find the system folder at start up. I fixed with TechTool and DiskWarrior only to have it deteriorate until it wouldn't recognize the hard drive at all and I reinitialized and reinstalled everything. It worked great for awhile again until the same problem began happening. At first I thought it was the PRAM battery but the dates and such were never a problem. Then I thought it was my TechTool virus upgrades which I read might conflict with Norton Antivirus. Took those off. It is still a problem. Now I have been told it could be the hard drive (only 2 years old) or the motherboard controler. What about OS 9.1? Any ideas would be welcome. TIA Larry
