Whoa! Not so fast! Unfortunately with Apple's latest changes (after they were quoted as saying they 'didn't care' if users of older OS got iTools pages) It looks like you MUST HAVE OS9 or better to sign up. After that you can update your webpage (with manual HTML) and use their POP3 email (which is what I want anyway) without OS9.
Guess I'll have to get ahold of my local 12 year old Mac Guru and borrow his iBook for a couple of minutes to sign up now, then put 9 (and maybe X!) on a seperate partition on the ol 3400 soon as I can.
