Anyone have any insight as to the possible reasons for slow screen redraws on my PB
5300cs? When I say slow, I mean anywhere from several seconds of a blank window before
it updates, to it staying that way as long as I want.

I noticed it first with Eudora (v3.1.3); after reading and closing a message the Inbox
window would be blank - not showing any of the messages, although the window outline
and the title bar were ok. I could leave it this way for hours, and have left it this
way for several minutes with no change. The cursor remained as a large cross, not an
arrow like it should be. You could select and highlight and even read the message, but
you couldn't see it in the Inbox window. When I go down to the slider, though, and
click, the window instantly (well, for a 5300 anyway) redraws.

Now it seems to be happening to most all the applications, although Finder windows
have not been affected (yet). The one thing in common is that the cursor stays at
whatever it was, either a text entry I-beam or a hand or whatever - everything except
an arrow.

I don't recall having installed any new applications or extensions, but ...

As always, any help appreciated.
