Which can be a challenge. I first put the screws on the top and they got in the way of the palm/trackpad assembly. Then on the sides where one of them gets in the way of the center edge near the space bar, there I just removed some of the casing on the palm/trackpad assembly as it does not show on the top. So if you have to modify your hard drive casing inside the 5300, I recommend the sides, drill the holes and then remove the plastic where it conflicts.
Also you will have to make holes in the copper shielding for 2 of the screws on the side or top.
