It was suggested that the video cable connection and/or the cable
itself be checked. Where is this cable located? I'm hoping it's really
obvious.

A bad FL/Invertor board was also suggested. Is this the little board
that the battery pluggs into?

I've left it plugged in for 24 hours to charge up the regular
battery. I have a dream that if the PRAM battery is the problem that
somehow some of this extra juice will bleed over to it. I'm going to
find out right now. Somehow, though, I feel I'm going to be
disappointed. here goes! :-\
