OK, here's the deal: I have 2 newly acquired PB 190's. One is a 4MB/500MB and the other an 8MB/500MB. The 8MB one has no system installed, so I tried using my OS 7.5.3 Disk Tools 2 disk (which worked fine with the 4/500 PB 190) to install 7.5.3. However, the 190 just gives me the flashing X and ejects the disk. I have tried installing from an external CD-ROM, as well, but the most recent OS I have on CD is 7.5.2, which needs the PB 190 enabler to work on the 190. So, what is going on here? I thought maybe the floppy drive perhaps is bad on the 8/500, and maybe I should swap it with the one in the 4/500. But before I do that, I thought I'd turn to this list, which has been very helpful in the past. Any advice is greatly appreciated. BTW, my other PBs include: a 1400 w/Sonnet 333 G3 card, a 170, a 145B and a 100. TIA, Heather
