Hi Beverly, It's easier, if it works. The 2400 fix was harder but the fixer reports no problems. Some cards don't fit into the 'older' cage if you read the 3400 site. I'm really looking for a source for the 'newer' cages, and/or how difficult it is to install them. I have also contacted Rob Frohne from the 3400 site. I don't need to use the PC card slots for the moment. If I were to obtain the Kanga mob upgrade, then the MCE fix becomes more sensible. Thx George 3400 @ 180, 80 MB, 1.3 GB, onboard modem/Enet
