Glad it's going... I've got the 'sevice source' and 'developer notes' acrobat files at http://www.hackplus.co.uk - one of those sites you start with load of enthusiasm, and then never quite keep up with. I think the downloads on the mac portable page are OK, others on the downloads page may be duff. Feel free to test it to destruction and let me know how it goes...
The portable is the genetical identical by physically different twin of the PB100. Look out for 6.0.8L, the last evrsion of sys 6 ever, for the PB100 & Portable.
