Yes, I should have clarified, to connect the laptop ide drive to my Desktop Mac with the ATA/55 IDE Interface Card, and then format it as Mac...
I am 'making sure' because just today I installed an Atapi Zip Drive to the ATA/66 card and while it formats zips as Mac, my scsi zip drive can't read them, and vice-versa. They are only useable on that drive and I can store and read from it like normal. I've created some form of Hybrid Zip, even the default icon looks like a peecee icon. Definitely trudging in unknown territory. So I can only wonder what would happen if I connect the laptop through this adapter to my desktop Mac through the ATA/66 card?
