I've been browsing the list for some time now and it allowed me to
rehabilitate and upgrade a junked PB5300cs with no problems until now.

I have a 5300cs, 64MB ram, 770 MB HD, and 256 MB CompactFlash memory.
I have just purchased a 3Com Megahertz 56k Modem PC card with XJACK
Connector Model 3CXM756. The card came with instruction book and
installation CD.

Now the instructions say that installation on a Mac can only be done
from the CD. No problem, SCSI to my G4 and go.

Instructions further say "Double click the installer icon" only there
ain't no darned installer icon. There's only a setup.exe fileand
other .exe files. No problem, go to 3Com's site and download the
driver. Only 3Com doesn't recognize the 3CXM765 part number and I
only find LAN driver upgrades.

Before I start into a lengthy web, email and phone search, I'm hoping
one of you Guru's have been here before.

Thanks,
Thomas
