hi there from  a fellow  Ross !  -
UK to USA adaptor for your mains items ,as we're 240v ....
 ( unlike some of clintons people a few years ago it seems )
well the internet cafe's i've encountered are pc biased and the chances of
finding staff at them that know what ethernet hookup is will be remote -
getting them to let you fiddle around with wires .......  you may be lucky
( and i'll buy a lottery ticket at the same time ! )
