Have you tried the intech Speedtools cd mounter?

Don't know if that will work but it's worth a try.

I can also send you a small extension that automatically mounts cd/rom's
that Apple can't.  Let me know if you want it.

Then if it works, maybe I'll follow suit with my 5300cs.
